The Stagecoach Ballroom is one of the last large dance halls in the state of Texas that is family owned and operated. Jean Czajkowski and her husband Kiran Desai manage the venue. Jen Chidgey and Julia Paur are consultants and actively involved in the clubs operations. Jennifer Chidgey is Jean's oldest daughter. In the early 1990s Jennifer played twin fiddles in the house band. She left to open several restaurants across the country and now has her own photography and digital restoration business. Photography by Jen Chidgey. She has been published in feature articles in DFW.com and USA Today Newspaper. Julia graduated from UNT with a degree in Hospitality Management, her experience at The Mansion in Dallas, The Jefferson Hotel, Republic National Distributing Company, The Catering Director at Mira Vista and The Event Coordinator for the Fort Worth Club which lead her to create her own company for event designing. Still a valuable resource for designing any event, Julia has recently become a Reiki Master and teaches Yoga.

Stagecoach Ballroom
Fort Worth This family-run hall maintains an old-school atmosphere with vintage lights and a 3,500-square-foot floor for twirling couples. It even offers free dance lessons before many shows. "If you're in Fort Worth and you want to hear country music, this is where to go," Patoski says.

FW Weekly 2008
Best of: Country Music Venue
Readers’ choice: Billy Bob’s
Texas Critic’s choice: Stagecoach Ballroom, 2516 E Belknap St, FW This honkytonk often gets overlooked by the tourists who flood the Stockyards, but it’s as authentic as they come and one of the oldest in town. Family-owned and -operated, the Stagecoach draws an older crowd that appreciates hardcore honkytonk artists such as Johnny Rodriguez, Dale Watson, Johnny Bush, and The Derailers, all recent performers. The place is spacious with plenty of tables and chairs, the dance floor is large, the wooden bar is long, fights are few, cover charges are reasonable, and the help is generally friendly.
